Canadian housing: rental vacancy rates in Alberta 2000-2022
The rental vacancy rate for apartments in Alberta in Canada decreased for the second year in a row in 2022. Approximately 3.8 percent of the rental apartments in that year were vacant, down from 6.8 percent the year before. Despite the decrease, the vacancy rate in Alberta stood higher than the national average and most provinces.
