Types of mobile ads noticed during smartphone usage

This survey, conducted during the fourth quarter of 2010, shows the different types of advertising noticed when using a smartphone. Display ads are noticed by the majority of respondents as banners or graphical ads have a 45 percent visibility rate. Search ads within mobile search engine listings are noticed by 34 percent of respondents.
