This survey shows a public view on important issues that might matter in the campaigning for the upcoming U.S. presidential election. The survey was done between September and October 2011 and gives additional information about the generation gap of american voters. Overall, the job situation is the most important issue regardless of the age of the respondent. Social security is the second most important issue for members of the silent generation, who are between 66 and 83 years old now.
