Views of Americans on creationism and evolution from 1982 to 2017 This statistic shows the results of a survey among Americans on their views regarding creationism and evolution over several years. In 2017, 38 percent of respondents believed in creationism, i.e. that God created humans in their present form at one time in the past, while 19 percent believed that humans evolved without God having a part in it at all.
