Cumulative solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity in the United States has continuously increased since 2000. In the first decade, figures increased by some 2.9 gigawatts. In 2020, the country's cumulative solar PV capacity amounted to 73.8 gigawatts, an increase of nearly 71 gigawatts compared to 2010.
