Financial support offered to graduates by family members in the U.S. 2012
This graph shows recent university graduates responses to a survey question about what their family members had offered them in terms of financial support. The survey was conducted in the United States in 2012. 30 percent of graduates said that their family had offered financial support with regards to their living situation, either in the form of helping to pay a mortgage or rent, or by providing free or cheap accommodation for them.
