Employment in the film industry in the UK 2007-2021, by segment
In 2021, the United Kingdom's film industry employed approximately 106 thousand people, of which more than three-quarters – around 85 thousand – worked in movie production and distribution. The film exhibition and distribution segments accounted for 14 thousand and seven thousand of the sector's workforce.
