U.S. coal exports 2006-2019

United States coal exports have oscillated throughout the years, peaking in 2012, at 125.75 million short tons. Between 2006 and 2019, figures increased by 43 million short tons. In 2019, the country exported 92.85 million short tons of coal. Europe and Asia were the main target markets for U.S. coal.
