U.S. teenage internet users: buying music on recommendation in 2012
The statistic presents the share of US teenage internet users who have ever bought a CD or paid for a music download because of a good review or personal recommendation without having heard the music before. During the Stage of Life survey in 2012, almost 60 percent of respondents said they had never paid for music without having heard the music first.
