Scrap imports in leading markets 2021

In 2021, leading countries imported some 59 million metric tons of steel scrap. This represents an increase of seven percent compared to the previous year's value. In the period of consideration, leading markets' scrap imports fluctuated slightly and peaked at around 60 million metric tons in 2018.
