In 2023, credit cards constituted over 30 percent of all e-commerce transaction value in Argentina. In Peru, they represented approximately ten percent of online transactions. Furthermore, the instant payment platform Pix has surged in popularity, leading to a significant rise in account-to-account (A2A) transfers, which have become the second most favored e-commerce payment method in Brazil.
