This statistic shows the average amount of time that people used digital media devices on a typical day in the U.S. in 2012. Most respondents reported using digital media devices from 4 to 6 hours per day. Only 10 percent reported using digital media devices for more than 12 hours per day, while 20 percent reported spending less than 3 hours a day.
