The survey was conducted from November 11 to November 29, 2013, surveying more than 30,000 internet users in 60 countries in the following regions: Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, Middle East, Africa, and North America. To be included in the survey, at least 60 percent of the population of the respective region had to have internet access. The survey has been conducted regularly since 2005.
