Road density in China 2008-2021
In 2021, China's highway network density had reached approximately 55.01 kilometers per 100 square kilometers, an increase of 0.86 kilometers per 100 square kilometers from the previous year. Road density is the ratio of the length of the country's total road network to the national land area.
