
Change in U.S. cesarean deliveries in latter period of gestation by ethnicity of mother 2009-2011
This statistic depicts changes in cesarean deliveries at 38 and 39 weeks of gestation in the U.S. in the period 2009-2011, by ethnicity of mother. In that period, the cesarean delivery rate in the 38th week of gestation decreased 5.3 percent among all mothers. On the other hand, the rate increased four percent in the 39th week of gestation.
