Uranium mine production worldwide 2021 by country
Kazakhstan is the largest uranium producer in the world, with a production volume of 21,819 metric tons in 2021. Australia followed with an uranium production volume of 4,192 metric tons. By comparison, the United States produced eight metric tons of uranium that year. However, the country saw a considerable decrease on its figures, as the U.S. uranium mine production amounted to 1,660 metric tons in 2010.
