Germany: nuclear energy consumption 1990-2022

In 2022, nuclear power consumption amounted to 310 petajoules in Germany. This figure decreased steadily as the country prepared to phase-out this energy source in 2023. Before the withdrawal, in 2022, the generation of electricity from nuclear in Germany was at 34.7 terawatt-hours, down from 69 the year before.
