Imports of machine tools into Germany - originating countries 2020-2021
In 2021, Germany increased its machine tool imports from most of the originating countries listed above. In the same year, Europe's largest economy imported the majority of machine tools from Switzerland, which were worth around 722 million euros. Italy took second place in the ranking, far behind their Swiss competitors, with an import volume of about 300 million euros.
