There are two main brands that make up the Abercrombie & Fitch Group: Abercrombie and Hollister. The Abercrombie segment can be further divided into two brands: abercrombie kids and Abercrombie & Fitch. In 2018, Hollister generated 60 percent of the group’s revenue, making it the larger of the two brands. That same year the average Abercrombie & Fitch Group store generated about 372 U.S. dollars in net sales per square foot.

Hollister and Teenage Consumers

Among teenage girls in the United States, Hollister is a popular clothing brand. A Fall 2018 survey found that five percent of American teen girls prefer to buy their clothes at Hollister rather than any store, making it the fifth most popular clothing retailer in that demographic. Hollister is also popular among teenage boys in the United States, though only three percent named it as their favorite clothing brand. U.S. teenage boys overwhelmingly seem to prefer brands like Nike and Adidas.
