TUI recorded, by their classification,natural disasters, such as the floods in Bulgaria in 2006 or in Australia in 2010, the severe storms in Central America in 2007 or 2009 in Vietnam as well as the earthquake in New Zealand 2010. Similarly, economic crises were considered - such as the bankrupt airline Varig in 2006 or strikes by the airlines or airports as Lufthansa strike in 2010, and political crises such as the riots in the Arab region in 2011, or the massive demonstrations and unrest in Thailand in 2008 and 2010.
