This graph displays the share of US smartphone owners who check their mobile device (for e-mails, texts, etc.) first thing in the morning, divided by gender. Of those surveyed, more than 45 percent of the women replied that they checked their mobile device(s) right after waking up, compared to 40 percent of the men who engaged in the same activity first thing in the morning.
