The statistic displays Google's search engine market share in the United Kingdom (UK) from March 2014 to July 2017, monthly. Data is collected based on more than 15 billion hits online per month. As of July 2017, Google reached a market share of 83.49 percent on the search engine market in the United Kingdom. It dropped from 88.01 percent in January 2017, to which it increased from 85.91 percent in January 2016. In the time period from May 2015 to April 2017, the market share decreased from 88.5 to 85.64 percent. Google was the most popular search engine site in the UK followed by Bing. Bing held a market share of 10.07 percent, followed by Yahoo! with 3.16 percent. Compared to Google's predominance on the market only showing slight decline, the market share of Bing has steadily been increasing from 5.93 percent in March 2014.
