Global solar PV cumulative installed capacity share by country 2019
China was by far the leading country worldwide based on cumulative solar photovoltaic capacity in 2021, accounting for nearly a third of the world’s total cumulative installed solar PV capacity. The United States followed, with 13 percent of the cumulative PV capacity worldwide.
