In 2022, plastic surgery practices performed over 3.9 million cosmetic procedures involving neurotoxins (such as Botox) in the United States. Neurotoxins were thus the most common nonsurgical cosmetic procedures in the United States in 2022. During that year, with over a million procedures, skin treatments were the second most commonly performed nonsurgical cosmetic procedure in the U.S.
