This statistic provides information on the estimated mobile commerce spending as a percentage of e-commerce spending in selected countries in 2015, sorted by mobile device. Experts projected that 28.6 percent of online sales in the United Kingdom would be generated through mobile devices in 2015. The United Kingdom was estimated to have the highest percentage of mobile commerce within e-commerce sales and also the highest percentage of mobile commerce sales, generated via smartphone usage. The highest proportion of mobile commerce sales via tablet was estimated to occur in the United States. Germany had the second highest percentage of mobile commerce among e-commerce sales and in 2016 the revenues from mobile sales in Germany amounted to approximately 21.23 billion euros. Revenues from e-commerce sales via desktop in Germany came to 41.22 billion euros in that year.
