Fresh soup: Market value in the United Kingdom 2007-2017 This statistic shows the amount spent on fresh soup in the United Kingdom (UK) from December 2007 to December 2017. In the 52 week period ending on the 31st of December 2017, 133.99 million British pounds was spent on fresh soup in the UK, which had increased to 131.8 million British pounds by the 1st January 2017. Concurrently, there has been a rising trend in the value of soup and broths imported into the country. In terms of soup and broth manufactured in the United Kingdom, however, there have been contrasting trends: both value and volume are currently decreasing, while prices have remained comparatively steady. The most popular soup format in the United Kingdom is soup in tins, pouches and tubs, with a majority of consumers using soup products two to three times per month or less.
