This statistic shows the voter turnout rates for constituency votes in the Welsh Assembly elections from 1999 to 2011. Over the last four elections there was a variation in voter turnout of 8.2 percent. The peak, in 1999, was followed in 2003 by the lowest turnout rate of this period.

Information from source: "Turnout figures for 2011 include ballot papers rejected at the count. Figures prior to 2011 include valid votes only, because comprehensive data on rejected ballots is not available. The difference between these two ways of recording turnout is usually low. For example, if rejected ballots are excluded from the 2011 constituency turnout figure, turnout is 41.5%."
