European Union's total chemical revenue 2012-2017 This statistic depicts the distribution of the European Union's total chemical revenue from 2012 to 2017, by sector. In 2012, some 25.4 percent of the EU's chemical revenues came from specialty chemical products. The specialty chemical products category includes auxiliaries for the industry, paints and inks, crop protection, as well as dyes and pigments. This share increased to 27.4 percent in 2017.
