This statistic shows the amount (volume) of beer released for consumption in the United Kingdom from 2002 to 2022. In 2002, approximately 54.6 million hectoliters of beer was cleared in the UK. In 2021, clearances grew to 46.1 million hectoliters, but did not exceed 2019's pre-pandemic level of 47 million. Clearances again declined in 2022 to 45.8 million.
