The original survey question was posed as follows: "For companies to establish diverse work environments, do you have any idea or advice to contribute? If we are able to deliver your message to the management of your company, what would you want to say?" The wording was slightly altered in order to facilitate comprehension.

The abbreviation LGBT stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender.

Of overall respondents, 1,856 people stated to be homosexual and 305 said they were bisexual.
