This statistic displays the number of visits by United Kingdom residents to Europe in 2017, by gender and purpose of trip. Male business travelers visited Europe significantly more than female business travelers, with four million visits made by men for business that year, compared to 1.3 million by women. Leisure travel on the other hand was much more balanced with around 26.5 million trips by men and 26.3 by women traveling to Europe that year.
