This statistic presents the percentage of US youths who admit to posting personal information online and the percentage of parents who are aware of their child posting that information as of April 2013. During an online study, it was found that 66 percent of youths in the United States admitted to posting a picture of themselves online. In contrast, only 49 percent of parents were aware that their child had posted a picture of themself on the internet.
