Monthly domestic holidays in the UK 2019

The number of domestic holiday trips taken monthly in Great Britain generally shows similar yearly trends over the period from July 2016 to December 2019. A higher proportion of overnight holidays are taken within Great Britain in the summer months, particularly in August. In 2019 around 9.42 million trips were taken in August, compared to 8.85 million during the same period a year earlier.
