In 2022, an estimated 14 percent of all plastic surgeons worldwide practiced in the United States. Brazil, on the other hand, had the highest share of surgical procedures at nearly 14 percent. That is of all the cosmetic procedures performed globally in 2022, roughly one in seven was conducted in Brazil.
