U.S. gas and oil companies CAPEX on exploration and development 2010-2022
The capital expenditure (CAPEX) on oil and gas exploration in the United States amounted to 10.89 billion U.S. dollars in 2022, while CAPEX on U.S. oil and gas development came to around 63.45 billion U.S. dollars. This is relatively similar in comparison to 2010, when CAPEX on U.S. oil and gas development and exploration stood at 60.5 and 15.6 billion U.S. dollars, respectively.
