UK petrol retailers' view of Scottish governments' war on illicit tobacco trade 2014

This survey shows petrol retailers' perception of the fight against illicit tobacco trade in Scotland. According to the survey conducted in March 2014, 3 percent of respondents strongly agreed and 35 percent somewhat agreed with Health Secretary Alex Neil's comment that the Scottish Government is “winning the war” on illicit tobacco trade. In comparison, 23 percent somewhat disagreed and an additional 13 percent strongly disagreed with the comments, suggesting the Scottish government are not believed to be winning the fight against illicit tobacco trade.
