Penetration of audiobook consumption in the U.S. 2018-2019, by gender

In 2019, five percent more women said in a survey that they had listened to an audiobook in the last year than male respondents who said the same. This marks a change from the previous year where men were marginally more likely to have used an audiobook in the last twelve months than women.
