Share of countries with legislation on trafficking in persons 2003-2020, by type
As of August 2020, 93 percent of countries had specific legislation on trafficking in persons that covered most or all forms of trafficking. This is a huge increase from December 2003, when only 18 percent of countries offered such legislation.
