This graph shows the main reasons why people use buses in Scotland, based on percentages of total use from a 2009-2012 four year average. Shopping, leisure and commuting were the three main reasons for bus travel in Scotland with similar numbers of trips made for each of these reasons. Travelling by bus for education purposes, on the other hand, was relatively low.
