Motorcycle road practical tests taken in Great Britain (UK) 2017/18

This statistic compares the number of practical motorcycle road tests taken by different age groups in the United Kingdom (UK) between April 2016 and March 2018. The age group that took the highest number of practical motorcycle tests was 21 to 30 year-olds, with more than 23,500 candidates taking the test in 2016/2017. Over 14 thousand 31 to 40-year-olds took the test in 2016/2017.
The number of test candidates peaked with the 21 to 30 year old age group, and declined drastically as the average age of the age groups increased. Only 5,087 candidates between the ages of 51 and 60 took the motorcycle tests between April 2016 and March 2017, and 818 above 61 years of age in the same period.
