This statistic shows the results of a biennial survey, which asked British adults if they are entertaining at home more often by having friends over instead of going to a pub or restaurant, between 2009 and 2017. According to the 2017 survey, 75 percent of respondents claimed to have friends over instead of going to a pub or restaurant. In 2011, only around half of respondents claiming to entertain more often at home said they have friends over instead of going out.
