This statistic displays the percentage of U.S. adults by age group that have reported certain sleep-related behaviors in 2009, under the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System in 12 states. From 18-24 year olds, 43.7 percent have reported unintentionally falling asleep during the day at least once in the last 30 days, while 4.5 percent have nodded off or fell asleep while driving in the last 30 days.
