This statistic presents the results of a survey among 2,236 U.S. consumers. The survey was conducted online by Harris Interactive in January 2014, asking the respondents to describe their level of concern about food recalls due to health- or safety-related issues. Some 32 percent of U.S. adults who are affiliated with the democratic party stated that product recalls are a serious concern to them.
