This statistic shows the result of a question from the British Social Attitudes survey which asked how the respondents think immigration policy should change, if at all. The results have been split here by political stance. The majority of respondents in all groups said they were in favour of reducing immigration levels. Those who said they were Conservative party supporters had the highest proportional level of such people. The 'other' group is made up of those supporting UKIP, Plaid Cymru, SSP, Green Party etc.
