Willingness to walk instead of driving for short trips in Great Britain 2006-2016 This statistic shows how willing survey respondents were to walk rather than drive for short trips in Great Britain between 2006 and 2016. Most of the respondents agreed that they could walk for many of the short trips that they normally take by car. There was a great increase in the people who strongly agree with it in 2015. By 2016, 14 percent of the respondents stated that they could walk short distances instead of taking the car.
