This survey, conducted by Ipsos across 14 countries in January and February 2017, shows the share of people who are scared to speak out and advocate the equal rights of women because of what might happen to them, in their respective countries. In South Korea, 33 percent of respondents agreed very much or somewhat that they are scared to speak out and advocate the equal rights of women because of what might happen to them.
