Newly diagnosed testicular cancer in England 1995-2017 This statistic shows the registrations of newly diagnosed cases of testicular cancer in England from 1995 to 2017. Testicular cancer occurs when cells within the testis begin to grow abnormally, often forming a tumor. Since 1995, the number of males registered as newly diagnosed with testicular cancer has gradually increased. In 2017, 1,854 males were registered as newly diagnosed testicular cancer, this was a decrease compared to number of registrations in 2016.
