Revenue share from tourism India 2013-2021, by visitor origin

In 2021, the share of revenues from domestic travel spending to the total tourism revenue was 94 percent in India. The share of foreign visitor spending, however, decreased significantly from 18percent in 2019 to six percent, due to the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
