This statistic shows the share of necessity-driven entrepreneurship in total early-stage entrepreneurial activity (TEA) in Latin American and Caribbean countries in 2018. According to the report, necessity driven entrepreneurial activity is defined as the percentage of those involved in total early-stage entrepreneurial activity because they had no other option for work. According to data from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, in 2018, the share of necessity-driven entrepreneurship in Chile was 23.6 percent.
