This statistic shows the rate of service personnel diagnosed with new mental health disorders in the British Army from 2007/08 to 2018/19. While there was a slight decrease from 2007/08 to 2008/09, from that year on the mental disorder rate in the Army began to increase almost constantly, building up to the highest rate in 2015/16 when more than 35 out of one thousand strength were diagnosed with mental health problems during their service. In 2018/19, it fell down to a rate of 27.2.
